This
month's meeting will be on May 19th at 7 PM. It will be in the Zoo
Ops building south of the Zoo parking lot. Bring images to share.
Representatives
from Wolf Camera will be our guest speakers.
Be
sure to come to the May meeting with lots of ideas to give Marie about
future programs and/or field trips.
Wayne's
photo exhibit will continue throughout May at the Prairie Village City Hall,
7700 Mission Road.
The
Savanahland tour will be on Saturday, May 24th at 10:00 A.M. for
the two-hour tour/party. The price per person, (including children) is
$10.50.
We
can bring our lunch and eat at the pavilion. You may pay the day you go. In
case of rain we can reschedule or cancel. Map and directions are on the
website, or a few will be at the meeting. You can bring along a friend; we
need at least 20 people.

Two
other possible outings for the club would be Sunset Safaris on Friday, May
30th and on Friday, June 27th from 5 to 8 PM.
This
will be the summer of the Chimps at the Kansas City Zoo. The Sprint IMAX
theater will feature Jane Goodall's Wild Chimpanzees. There will be a
Chimpanzee Challenge Maze and a Chimpanzee Classroom at the chimp exhibit.
There
will be Zebra-inspired people movers, Chimp Express buses to the
chimpanzees, lions and rhinos, Boat rides to a new dock across the Lake, and
a new engine for the Zoo's train.
